Last Chance U: Where are they now? – Season 2

Last Chance U is a 2016 documentary series produced by Netflix showcasing the 2015 American football season for East Mississippi Community College. The series was released worldwide on July 29, 2016.[1] Netflix has renewed for a second season following the EMCC Lions, coach Buddy Stephens, and academic advisor Brittany Wagner.[2] (source Wikipedia)




Brittany Wagner – Starting her own company 10 Thousand Pencils, LLC, helping student-athletes all across the country!

 

Clint Trickett – Former West Virginia quarterback left East Mississippi Community College after two seasons and is now the Tight Ends Coach at Florida Atlantic joining Lane Kiffin.

 

De’Andre Johnson – He joins Trickett and will play at Florida Atlantic University. Johnson has a good chance of being the starting QB in the fall.

 

Tim Bonner – A transfer from Louisville, he joins Johnson and Trickett at Florida Atlantic.

 

Dakota Allen – Ironically enough Allen is going back to Texas Tech that same school that kicked him out in 2016. He can make a huge impact since he knows the playbook. This is a full circle second chance!

 

Isaiah Patrick-Wright – The hybrid RB/WR will attend Division 2 the University of West Georgia with a couple of his teammates this fall.

 

Brooks Shannon – He was one of the top receivers for the Lions the past two season and he will also be attending University of West Georgia.

 

Diamante Pounds – Had the second most tackles during the season behind Allen, he also attend West Georgia.

 

Jay Johnson – He joins Wright-Patrick, Brooks, and Pounds at UWG.

 

Chauncey Rivers – He was a top recruit coming out of high school signed with Georgia then got kicked out and went to EMCC. This fall he will be playing at Mississippi State with a couple of his teammate from EMCC.

 

Kam Carter – He transferred to in from Penn State and will now be playing at Pitt this season.

 

Tyre Phillips – Have to show the big guy’s love, one of the best OL for the EMCC the past two seasons, will play at Mississippi State.

 

Brian Cole II – Will join Phillips and Rivers at Mississippi State. He previously played at Michigan.

 

T.J. Jallow – Originally committed to Louisville, but ended up signing with the Purdue Boilermakers.

 

Ezekiel Rose – Was a 1 and done at EMCC and will join West Virginia this fall.

 

Rasool Clemons – One of the highest rated JUCO players on the team, Clemons signed with Troy.

 

Jacquez Horsley – Oddly hasn’t signed with a school yet. To be announced…

 

Vijay Miller – Even playing as the back quarterback to Johnson he saw solid action. Miller is a two-sport athlete and played baseball for the Lions. He was drafted by the San Diego Padres and signed a minor contract with the team.
