Adam Greenberg x PG Sports

On July 9, 2005 Adam Greenberg (from Guilford, Connecticut) got struck in the head with a baseball in his first MLB at bat with the Chicago Cubs (vs the Florida Marlins). They did not know if Greenberg would ever make it back to the bigs. After years and years in various minor league organizations the Miami Marlins signed him on September 27, 2012 to a one game contract to play vs the New York Mets and R.A. Dickey. Its ironic the Marlins signed him after almost ending his career. With the help of One At Bat he finally got his chance on October 2, 2012. Greenberg struck out on three pitches vs Dickey, but he said after the game, "It was magical. The energy that was in the stadium was something that I have never experienced in my life, and I don’t know if I’ll ever experience that again."<31> On December 20, 2012 he signed a minor league contract with the Baltimore Orioles for the 2013 season. On March 24, 2013 we welcomed Adam to the PG Sports Team! Join the movement, everywhere & anywhere. www.pg-sports.com
