Jerome Cunningham of the Tennessee Titans joins the PG Sports Team

We are pleased to announce that Jerome Cunningham of the Tennessee Titans is now part of the PG Sports Team. Cunningham a native of Waterbury, Connecticut and played collegiate football at Southern Connecticut State University. Never heard of Southern Connecticut State University? That's where Cunningham's story comes into play. Southern Connecticut State University is relativity small division 2 college in New Haven, Connecticut. After going undrafted in the 2013 NFL draft Cunningham received a tryout with the Indianapolis Colts but wasn't signed. He didn't give up his dream of playing in the NFL and continued working hard all summer while working a summer job at Taylor Rental. In 2014 Cunningham had tryouts with the New Orleans Saints and Arizona Cardinals but neither team signed him. Later that summer he got a call from the New York Giants for a tryout and was signed to the practice squad. He spent most of the season on the practice squad and was activated to the 53 man roster for the final two games. In the 2015 season Cunningham had a great pre-season and made the Giants 53 man roster, playing 9 games and starting 3 of them! That off-season the Giants cut him, then had a brief stint with the New York Jets before being signed to the Tennessee Titans practice squad for the 2016 season. He achieved his goal by reaching the NFL but he's not done yet, currently he signed to a reserve/future contract with the Titans and continues to pursue his dream!
